Hikma Health Β· Last updated: June 1, 2026
This SMS Messaging Privacy Policy explains how Hikma Health (βwe,β βus,β or βourβ) collects, uses, and protects information in connection with our SMS/text message program. It supplements our main Privacy Policy.
Information we collect
When you opt in to receive text messages from us, we collect your mobile phone number and your consent to be contacted. We may also process information related to the messages we send you, such as delivery status and your opt-out requests.
How we use your information
We use your mobile number solely to send the messages you have opted in to receive, which may include:
- Appointment notifications and reminders
- Two-factor authentication (2FA) codes and secure sign-in links
- Patient referral notifications
- Updates to your account or schedule
No sharing of mobile information
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in information with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in data is not shared with third parties for any reason other than to facilitate delivery of the messages you have requested (for example, with the messaging service provider that transmits the texts on our behalf). These service providers are bound by contract to use the information only to provide the service and not for their own purposes.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on activity at your clinic or account. During busy periods you may receive up to 20 messages per day; during quiet periods you may receive no messages for a day or more.
Costs
Message and data rates may apply. These charges are billed by, and payable to, your mobile carrier. Hikma Health is not responsible for any carrier charges.
Opting out and getting help
You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you send STOP, you will receive a confirmation and will not receive further messages unless you opt in again. For help, reply HELP or contact us at ally@hikmahealth.org.
Data security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Because SMS is not an encrypted channel, we limit the personal and health-related information included in message content. Sensitive details are accessed through our secure platform rather than sent in the body of a text.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised βLast updatedβ date.
